DOTONBORI- OSAKA (Foods Please!)

Osaka - Dotonbori. Sinsaibashi. Ebi Suji Bashi 

To me, Osaka is like Hansel and Gretel's big fat cake house hehe.. Especially my favorite food district -  DOTONBORI. Dear friends, If you are planning to travel all the way to Osaka, DO NOT forget to pay a visit to the area! Why?? let me tell you! ^^

Firstly, because Dotonbori is the nest for various Japanese delicacies such as takoyaki, okonomiyaki, dango, charcoal grilled lobster, kushikatsu, etc. 

Secondly Dotonbori and its neighbors (Sinsaibashi and Ebi Suji Bashi) are the only areas that open until dawn! Yup, you heard me right, dawn! Unlike Tokyo, most places in Osaka are closed after 5pm. 

Moreover, for you, my shopaholic friends, you can also find numerous DUTY FREE SHOPS selling makeups and gifts  scattered along the way from Dotonbori to Sinsaibashi and Eji Suji Bashi. In addition, you can also find local brand shops - Daisho, Loerwys Farm or International brand shops - Zara, ABC Shop (dedicated to sneaker lovers) selling Adidas NMD, etc.

Apart from my top 5 favorites (which I captured above), here are some other pointers of some must try foods while visiting the area - Kushikatsu (Daruma Restaurant), Sea Salt Flavored Ice Cream (Osaka8, located across Dotonbori's Starbucks), Dangdo (Small food stall located in front of Dotonbori's karaoke place)
